Scott Comber, PhD

Scott Comber works with leaders to increase their capacity to lead in complex situations and organizations. One of his specialty areas is conflict resolution; his work with leaders focuses on creating core conflict skills and systems that bring innovation and positive change to teams and organizations.

Scott is a faculty member at Dalhousie University and is the Director of the Corporate Residency MBA and other full-time MBAs. He is a faculty member of the Canadian Medical Association Physician Management Institute (PMI). Scott is an executive coach and his practical knowledge is supported by an MBA (Finance), MA (Human Development) and a PhD in Human and Organizational Systems.

Mary Stacey

Mary Stacey is Managing Director, Context Management Consulting Inc. A consultant and executive coach, Mary partners with executive teams to align their organizations with business strategy and with leaders expanding their capacity to navigate complexity.

Mary's results are published in The Change Handbook: Best Methods for Engaging Whole Systems; she recently authored Addressing Today's Business Challenges while Developing Leaders for Tomorrow. Her action learning approach was designated an enterprise best practice by the CEO of Canadian Tire Corporation.

Mary holds an MA in Organizational Leadership and a Diploma in Counseling; she is an accredited member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Jeff Blackmer, MD

Jeff Blackmer is the Executive Director for the CMA Office of Ethics, Professionalism and International Affairs. His responsibilities include the development and interpretation of national and international policies in medical ethics and professionalism. He publishes and lectures extensively on topics in these areas. He is also the Medical Director of the Neurospinal Program at the Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa.

Monica Branigan, MD

Monica Branigan is the Faculty Lead, Ethics and Professionalism, Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of Toronto. She teaches extensively at the undergraduate, postgraduate and faculty development level on issues of ethics and professionalism. Her particular interest is in facilitating collegial conversations that actively explore how to make skilful ethical and professional decisions in complex situations. In her clinical role, she is the Medical Director of the Palliative and Supportive Care Service at St Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto.
